NAPPANEE, Ind.—Newmar Corporation, the Indiana-based manufacturer of high quality Class A motorhomes and fifth wheels, has introduced the all-new Grand Star motorhome this week at the FMCA International Rally in Perry, Georgia. The Grand Star gives customers the choice of a Ford®, Workhorse™, or Freightliner® FRED Chassis.

"The introduction of the Grand Star completes the two-year evolution of Newmar's Gas product line-up," said John Sammut, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "With the addition of the Grand Star, to the existing Bay Star and Canyon Star products that were introduced last year, Newmar now offers its motorhome customers gas products with the features they want at prices they can afford."

The Grand Star is available in five unique floorplans ranging in length from 33' to 37', including a full-wall slide floorplan and a family floorplan that features bunk beds. The other floorplans feature a three-zone living area and a front kitchen.

This product is loaded with nice amenities such as a one-piece bonded windshield, aluminum skinned baggage doors, and all models have 22.5" tires and aluminum wheels. Other standard features include a 26" LCD TV in the living area, two 13.5M Penguin™ Central Air Conditioners with Heat Pumps, solid-surface countertops, Flexsteel® furniture, and a 5.5kW Cummins Onan® Marquis Generator. The contemporary kitchen features stainless steel range, refrigerator front, microwave, and sink. Three interior décor package and three Full-Paint Masterpiece™ Finish exterior graphic choices are available.

Optional feature enhancements include a 12 cu. Ft. refrigerator, washer/dryer, and hardwood cabinets. The FRED Chassis offers a GVWR of 26,000 lbs. with a 340HP Cummins engine on 35' - 37' floorplans. The Grand Star MSRP ranges from $134,000 - $150,000.
