Newmar Unveils New Fifth Wheel Toy Hauler

NAPPANEE, Ind.—Newmar Corporation, the Indiana-based manufacturer of high-quality Class A Motorhomes and Fifth Wheels, will unveil its all-new X-Aire Fifth Wheel Toy Hauler at the 54th Annual California RV Show in Pomona, California October 13-22, 2006. The X-Aire is a full-featured fifth wheel specifically designed for the extreme sports enthusiast that loves to enjoy the RV lifestyle.
"This fifth wheel was specifically designed with the idea that those traveling with their toys want a fifth wheel they can use to enjoy their hobby on weekends or while on vacation," said Darin Elswick, Newmar Director of Towable Sales. "We are excited to be entering a new market with this product that has the same quality and the same construction that Newmar is known for."
The X-Aire is constructed with a 12" I-beam custom-built frame, 5/8" structurewood floor decking, aluminum-framed sidewalls and roof construction built 16" on center, BriteTEK roof with "walkable" decking and radius aluminum wrap, and PolarPak R-19 insulation in the floor, ceiling, and front and rear caps.
The X-Aire is available in two floorplans, both offering a spacious garage in the rear of the coach, an optional retractable screen, overhead cabinets in the garage area, and a flush-mounted flip-down countertop. The garage area offers 12' of cargo space, an air vent system, and a fueling station is located on the off-doorside of the coach.
Highlighting the exterior of the coach is the patent-pending rear cap design. New vinyl exterior graphics and a painted skirt show off the gel-coated exterior sides. The X-Aire is also equipped with MOR/ryde rubber equalizers with easy lube axles, polished aluminum wheels, and a 16" spare tire.
Interior features include a loft area with a queen-size bed, a 24" flatscreen TV in the living room, and 14" flatscreen TVs in the bedroom and garage areas. Oak cabinetry is offered throughout while a second queen-size bed and built-in booth dinette allow sleeping accommodations for six.
